These 55 gallon rain barrels are an ideal choice for collecting rain water to reuse for gardening and home irrigation. Our rain barrels are made from reconditioned blue high density polyethylene barrels which are great for keeping algae at bay. The rain barrels feature a removable lid with locking steel ring to make cleaning and maintenance easy. They include a screened funnel that makes collecting rain water simple and also keeps critters and mosquitoes out of your rain barrel. They have a high quality banjo fixture near the bottom of the container with an EPDM gasket to ensure your barrel does not leak. Attached to the fixture is a polyethylene spigot with threads for easy hookup of a garden hose. These rain barrels are rugged and durable. They require zero assembly time and setup is extremely simple. To setup your rain barrel, simply cut your rain gutters downspout and place the barrel underneath. Did you know that just a 1/4" of rain on 400 square feet of roofing can fill your entire rain barrel. Please Note: Due to the large size and weight of these rain barrels, we can not ship them.
